This project was an exercise in using type as imagery, without any use of photography, iconography or illustration. This chapter of “Re-Thinking Design” dissects the separation and connection of the designer and the impact of their work. I made type choices that communicated my interpretation of the text.

With youth, for youth, and by youth is a bilingual publication from the Govt of Canada. The challenge with this project was to typeset the document with english and french versions side by side on the page with distinct indicators for each of the languages. The target audience is the youth of Canada, defined as everyone between the ages of 15-35.
